Meet our TEAm

It takes a whole crew to keep our shop running smoothly. From blending our teas, to servicing customers, to fulfilling wholesale orders, creating fun and engaging events and more. Our talented staff keeps the kettle on and the tea pouring!

Danielle

Danielle is the founder and TEA.E.O of AVTeaCo, formerly Tupelo Honey Teas.

Her love of teas and herbs started when she was a teenager. Since then, she has been fascinated by the healing properties of herbs and teas and how they come together to make delicious and healing blends.

Aside from tea, she loves kayaking, traveling and learning new things. She's an avid knitter and loves all things fiber arts related. She is a mom of two grown kiddos, three big dogs and a grandma to her lovely grandcat.

Her favorite teas include grassy green teas and malty Yunnan black teas. She's a tea purist and drinks almost everything straight up and very bold.

Danielle loves to talk about all things tea, and has often been asked to speak about her passion. If you'd like to book Danielle for a speaker session, please use our contact form to request an event!

Jess

Jess has been with AVTeaCo since 2018 and is now the manager. She has several blends of her own on our shelves, such as Sahari, Eftar, and Hot Toddy.

In 2022 she started seeing a need to support immigrant and refugees who were settling in Millvale. Since there is tea culture in almost all countries, these lovely people found their way to our shop where she got to know them and their journey. In 2024 she officially started Be Our Neighbor, a non profit to support them.

In her down time she loves to read and papercraft and take the local kids on fun adventures!

Her favorite drink is iced chai with oat milk.

Trinity

Trinity has been working at the tea shop since she was 16 years old. She has grown from not really being too sure about tea into the person who is creating drinks for the menu.

Trinity is kind of a Millvale celebrity. You can find her selling her cool jewelry, wrangling our Kit-TEAS or drawing when she isn't behind the counter.

Her favorite drink here at AVTeaCo is Matcha with our homemade apple chutney.

Meagan

Meagan is the newest employee at AVTeaCo. She comes to us from the wellness field and is eagerly learning all about tea.

Her biggest pride and joy is her family. Sometimes you will see them hanging out with her at the shop. Meagan is an avid baker and makes a mean loaf of bread, which she lovingly shares with anyone in the shop.

Her favorite drink is iced chai or our housemade hand squeezed lemonade.

Sherry

Sherry is our tea maker. She comes in each week and preps our iced teas, squeezes our fresh lemonade, makes the chai concentrate, elderberry elixir, and more. If you've ever had a cold drink from our cafe, you can thank Sherry for prepping it!

Aside from the tea shop you can find her enjoying her children and her grandchildren. She loves good winery, hosting her infamous halloween party and traveling to Idaho to visit her daughter. Sherry comes from an English tea drinking family.

Her favorite drink at AVTeaCo is the Grilled Peach Cooler.

Bri

If you have ever wondered where the delicious food at the shop comes from, it comes from this very talented woman.

Bri has been creating delicious vegan food and baked goods for our cafe for the past 7 years.

When she isn't cooking and baking for us or her husband, you can find her reading or listening to true crime podcasts, walking her doggo, or shopping for vintage clothes.

Bri's favorite drink here at AVTeaCo is the Iced Chai.

Pat

Pat is our unofficial/official mascot. Perhaps you have caught one of our instagram shorts where Pat Tastes Stuff? Or maybe you had the pleasure of swapping yarns with Pat in the shop at our coveted "Chats with Pat".

You will often find him in the shop talking all things Millvale and sipping out of his special cup with googley eyes.

This ray of sunshine is one of the things that makes Millvale such a special place.

His favorite drink at AVTeaCo is Turkish Apple or Lemon Mint.

Sir Pu'er

We rescued two barn kit-TEAS in the summer of 2025. The first to steal our heart was this guy. We named him Sir Pu'er or as he is lovingly called, SIR!!!!

From the get go, he was purring and making biscuits on Trinity's arm.

We think he looks a bit like the Lorax.... Sir Pu'er- He speaks for the Teas!

London Fog

London Fog, aka London, is our second boy. He came bonded with Sir. He is a bit more reserved, however, the minute he knows you give the good scratches, he will be your best friend.

London is often found lounging by the "food hole" aka the back door awaiting his next meal or ruling the library.

We love his regal face, sweet eyes and snuggles.
