April Pink Moon

The Pink Moon is named for the pink flower that bloomed during it's arrival. However, the meaning also extends to blooming. April is the time when things begin to bloom. April showers wash over and clear the way for the coming May flowers.

The theme of this moon is always clearing the way for new things, new growth while leaving the old, dark past behind. It syncs with spring equinox which is the ushering in of birth, new life, beginnings.

White tea is the first three leaves picked from the tea plant. Because of this, they are the new beginnings of the tea bush each year. This tea can only be picked for approximately 2-3 weeks each year making it a highly sought after tea. It is also said to be very high in antioxidants as the bush is pushing all of it's energy into this new life.

The white tea is paired with chaste berry and red clover which are both supportive of the vessels that bring new life into the world, aka the uterus. Spearmint awakens the senses and provides a boost of energy.
