This Chinese green is named for its small leaf pellets, reminiscent of gunpowder. The robust, classic flavor begins smooth and finishes with a slight bitterness. Delicious hot or cold, this tea is a great base for smoothies and cocktails because of how well it mixes with fruits.
Gunpowder green is a rolled tea leaf which means that the leaves will unfurl and expand when steeped. You only need to use about half of the amount of tea leaves that you would use for your typical cup of tea.
