Pumpkin Pie Rooibos

Are you looking for a pumpkin spice caffeine free tea that has a well balanced flavor? This is your tea! 

In this house we don't do fake flavors. We use real whole ingredients (organically grown if we can get them) and blend them with good tea. The result is less dessert like flavors and more real, honest to goodness, goodness. 

If you just want tea, follow the steep instructions below. If you want to create a dessert, boil your water. Add it to the tea. Steep it for about 3-4 minutes. Pull the tea out and add in a scoop of pumpkin puree (not spiced). Sweeten and top with whipped cream. Pumpkin Pie in a cup!

The inspiration for this tea was a guiltless piece of pumpkin pie. 

STORY BEHIND THE BLEND: Danielle was experimenting with some drinks that could pass as dessert. She decided to "liquify" her favorite pie flavor, pumpkin. Wanting as real of ingredients as she could find, she started with the tea. Using a black base and adding all the spices of a pumpkin pie, she steeped her first cup. It was good but missing something. She opened a can of pumpkin puree (without spice) and did a whole heaping tablespoon of it into her cup. Stirred it around and added some sweetener. Now THERE was that flavor. Then just because she threw some whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top and that just blew her mind. It WAS pumpkin pie in a cup! 

After creating the black version, she quickly added this rooibos one for those who cannot do caffeine OR want to sip at night after dinner. It is naturally caffeine free, still has a good bold mouth feel and adds some additional sweetness to the blend.
