Veni Vidi Vanka
Veni Vidi Vanka was blended and named for the Maxo Vanka Murals at St. Nicholas Church in Millvale.
Maxo Vanka was a Croatian artist brought to the church in 1937 where he painted prolifically (25 murals in just a few years). His work pays tribute to faith while addressing social justice, injustice, the horrors of war and immigrant life.
Danielle toured the murals with the task of blending a tea as a fundraiser for the murals, which are being restored.
This is a white tea base with linden flower, which is the national tree of Croatia and rosehips because roses are displayed in many of the murals.
Light, floral and slightly sweet from the rosehips.
