Mugs and Vibes

Yesterday we got our first delivery of Peters Pottery. Peters Pottery is a wife and husband duo in Kittanning, PA. I first met them at an event when our booths just so happened to be side by side. They convinced me to come to do a festival with them in their town, which I agreed. It was the one we did this summer and was a really fantastic event and learning experience!

Yesterday Kathleen drove down with a batch of gorgeous mugs for us to sell this holiday season. She and I have been cooking up something good for the new year, so stay tuned.

I am a big believer that good energy brings good energy. It was one of the best things about the shop when we first opened and had cafe seating. So many days, someone would come and sit and their good energy brought others with good energy. I miss that. Yesterday, Kathleen brought the good energy.

Shortly after her arrival, the door kept opening and positive people just kept pouring in. Regulars, newbies, even people new to tea. It's been a LONG time since the shop saw that kind of day and it was EXHILARATING! She texted me afterwards and said how much she enjoyed meeting all of the characters in our life. She got to meet Pat and she told him he was famous. He was beaming.

I miss our cafe. I miss our seating. I miss the conversations over tea we had with our customers. Yes, we still have people coming in and chatting, but there's something about being able to sit and just be that is missing.

The new space is being planned to have seating again because we miss you.
