Chaider Recipe

With the start of school, we start to prepare for the cooler temperatures of fall. With apples and pumpkin and spiced flavors on the mind, we love this chaider recipe! Chaider is simply Chai+Cider.

Apple Spice Chaider

1/2 gallon of Cider-local if possible
One ounce bag of Apple Spice from AVTeaCo
Pot
Cheesecloth, tea strainer, or other fine mesh strainer
Honey to taste
Ground cinnamon to taste

Bring your cider to a simmer. Add three tablespoons of tea. Simmer for 20-30 mins. Strain out the tea. Add honey if you want a sweeter chaider. Sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on top.

Also delicious a chaider float with your favorite ice cream.

You can store this in the fridge and warm it up by the cup for 7-10 days.
