Chakra Blends
Right after the pandemic and our forced rebrand, one of the things I did was really dive into blending. I am coming to understand that blending is my way of handling stress. It's my creative process that also doubles as a distraction to anything unpleasant. From this prolific (stressful) time came these chakra blends.
I've always been interested in herbs and how they can support your body. Learning about chakras was such a great eye opening experience for me as it not only deals with your physical being but also your emotional and spiritual being. I was smitten.
Chakras are energy centers that run up and down your spine. Each one is associated with a different color, sound frequency, and declarations. They each support your emotional, spiritual, and physical bodies. If any part is out of line, you may have those symptoms in your every day life.
The root chakra (red) is at the base of your spine and has to do with safety and security.
The sacral (orange) is slightly higher (around your uterus area) and has to do with pleasure and creativity.
The solar plexus (yellow) is up just a bit more in what we would call our stomach and has to do with your confidence, self esteem and personal power.
The heart chakra (green) is over your heart and it connects the bottom three chakras with the upper three chakras. It is the center of love and compassion.
The throat chakra (blue) is right over your throat area and it has to do with speaking your truth, communication and expression.
The third eye (indigo) is the area right between your eyebrows and it has to do with intuition and imagination.
The crown chakra (violet/white) is on the top of your head and it is connected with spirituality, source and a higher consciousness.
When we originally released these teas, we did so without much fanfare. At the time I was barely holding on, especially emotionally. They went out hoping to resonate with the right people.... and they did.... ish. It was not the roaring excitement I had hoped for, but they were also not a flop. The blends themselves are delicious. They turn (kinda) the color of the chakra they represent and the herbs we used to blend them support the energy of that chakra.
This time around, I am excited, in a better place, and looking forward to taking the time to explain each blend. I hope this time the teas are more successful in finding the people who appreciate them!
