In the Beginning

The story of this tea company begins with a really great cuppa tea in the back of the Jade Buddhist Temple in Shanghai. However, its roots go back to a little girl sitting in a kitchen in Millvale PA, sipping tea with her mom.

The story of how I got here has many twists and turns, triumphs and failures, ups and downs. There have been many tears, cheers, and life moments, all of which will be touched upon in this blog at some point or another.

Today I wanted to say "Hello World" and tell you that amongst the pages of this blog I will talk about life, small business, community, and tea and I will show how all of these things are intimately connected. Much like how the dream for this business started half of a world away from Pittsburgh, yet the roots began nourishing the idea some 25 years prior to that moment. Life has a funny way of connecting seemingly opposite things in a puzzle that is meant just for you.
