Sacral Chakra

The Sacral, or second chakra, is located right under our naval. Linked to the water element, this chakra is all about flow. Feeling stagnant and holding back emotions can be indicative of a dammed up second chakra. Governing our emotions, creativity, and sexuality, this chakra often becomes unbalanced in the presence of fear, resistance, avoidance, or guilt.

Symptoms can manifest as things like lower back or joint pain, digestive issues, depression, anxiety, or premenstrual syndrome. Unblocking the second chakra is about releasing your fears and worries through acts such as meditation, affirmations, or reconnecting to water (dangle your feet in a lake, take a hike by a stream, sit out back on our rainbow patio and listen to Girty’s Run flow by). Of course, all of these activities pair perfectly with a soothing up of water steeped with organic, hand blended tea leaves.

We created our Sacral Chakra blend to clear up your murky waters and get your inner brook babbling again. The second chakra is also your orange chakra, so we started with a base of red rooibos to give your cup that deep orange color you need to reconnect with your second chakra. You’ll notice the delicious flavor of raspberry leaf, an herb that encourages a sense of playfulness and also supports both male and female sex organs. Eleuthero root, rhodiola, and saw palmetto also work to keep our Sacral Chakra in alignment.
